Is my computer fast enough to run a gtx 580 graphics card?

Dell Inspiron 620 Desktop

Intel Core2 i5-2310 2.9ghz (3.2 ghz turboboost)
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD 7200 rpm SATA
250GB HDD 7200 rpm SATA
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit




Is this fast enough for a gtx 580 or will my computer bottleneck performance?

Should be ok, I would be tempted to get a SSD at some point for your next upgrade

An i5 is fine for just about anything, don't worry about bottlenecking.

Check You PSU,
The most important thing when buying a graphics card (other than a PCI-E slot)

Make Sure you computer has enough spare energy to run it.

If it doesnt, strongly advise to get new one, branded with excess 75-150 w.

Specs (listed) are fine to run this card.

Yh xD For the money he spent on this machine, he should of built it himself.

I spent a grand on my build its only classed as a mid gaming machine.
