Is it worth to get that extra gig of memory?

as the title says,

If I buy the extra ram I'll probably take out the hard drive. I'm not in the mood to spend 1200 bucks loll. But is it really worth getting 2 gb? in prepare for vista. But mostly for the games.

I'm going to 2GB jump for my future system. Vista alone recommends 1GB minimum. Plus, if you load other stuff on there--the 2GB is a healthy choice.

I pressed 3 by accident. I'm actually in class right now, so I'm speed typing.

Dude i would get just one gig then upgrade later when you have more money
Thats just what i would do im sure others will disagree

Golden Master
I would get the 2 gig, thats what i run at the moment and its a big improvement. Especially if ya running programs like VMWare and stuff

I 2nd the 2 Gigs of Ram,

But your Vidcard is weak man,

get a X1950Pro or X1950XT they will dominate the KO and are just as cheap in price.

Just a helpful suggestion.

You can do the research if ya want, but i already did it.
