At the minute I'm using Mint 32 Bit along with FF simply because I don't want any crap on my PC. You will not agree and a lot of people will debate but this is one answer that will be a good bet for privacy. I use Add Block, No Script, Privacy Badger.

Along with that every time I reboot my Machine I run Bleach Bit. Also 32 Bit is massively compatible with a lot of software out their unlike 64 ..

So on that note I will say I never get advertisements, or any adds of any sort. Cookies or tracking ECT: No scripts awesome for disabling all most everything.

Also if you do ever switch to FF, you can disable the actual Java Script with in FF threw about:config ..

I'm paranoid so I know this works because I use this my self.

Wut

The only thing 64bit can't do, is 16-bit applications, i.e. DOS apps. Pretty much all software is either 32bit or 64bit...and 64bit OS's can run 32bit applications just fine - that's why there's "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" folders on Windows x64 systems.

I totally agree with you because your rite but 32 bit has a massive Flash, Java and other Media base what is not as good as 64 bit. I have 64 Bit on some of my machines and the support of complete hideous for Media and online video streaming ECT:

You can actually get You tube plug ins but Java and Flash is practically non existent. The only reason I went back to 32 Bit was for this as missed watching Porn. :p :p :p

Java needs to die I agree with you. When you get 0 Day infections or hacks on the platform is a nightmare but then whats the alternative HTML5 with 64 Bit Mint or an Ubuntu Based OS. HTML5 isn't massively compatible and when I ran VLC Media player on 64 Bit I had endless crap I had to put up with such as extra windows for my Video Streams, Adds; that sort of thing ..

That's why you just run a 32bit browser, which they all pretty much are unless you specifically run the x64 instance.

Both Flash and Java need to die off. Flash is getting there closer with HTML5...Java will be harder to kill off because it's so platform agnostic.

HTML5 isn't massively compatible
Compatible with what? It's compatible with all latest browsers. It's just up to the content provider to implement HTML5 instead of Flash for media.

I never had issues with VLC and I've been running x64 since Vista, and have used VLC with it without issues.

My bad bud. I never knew that. I had problems with it but never realized it was down to the content providers.

Duck Duck Go is one of the more popular ones that protects privacy.

+1 Duck Duck Go is pretty good, I also like the simple home screen customization . For certain subjects or topics I need to refer to google because I have to admit it definitely is superior, it seems to do better with certain science type questions and other quirky things. The image search on Duck isn't that great.
When I do go to google, I go to encrypted.google.com (https://encrypted.google.com/)

what about cellphone?
I noticed they became more aggressive with their targeted ads on faebook

I mean every single fn search I do on ebay or internet is on facebook

do you mean the searches are tracked by cookies only?
so if I delete cookies after every visit I should be ok?
