Is everything compatable?

Does everything work together? Check out my list for my computer parts i'll be ordering tomorrow.. also whats good memory i can get + what else do i need? This is close to my final choice. if anyone has a reason why i should not get this stuff please stand now! Thanks.. i want help guys.. everyone lets help!!

Reading the feed back I'm surprised you went with that m/board

worthy in a pile of junk

Pros: It's a decent board... Might overclock high hopefully for core duo... Cheaper than other 965p boards....

Cons: I got this board and it seemed to work okay... I did not have core 2 duo processor.. But a pentium D 805... It would make weird noises from the motherboard... Later I played with Gigabyte software ...to overclock within windows... After that it would never boot again...

....Pros: a full featured board that is has a future upgrade path....

Cons: CL4 ram is incorrectly detected as CL3 and the system won't boot. You have to boot with CL5 ram first and manually set the bios to CL4...

Other Thoughts: This is the cheapest board that supports Core 2 Duos and you get what you paid for.....

Still if you're not going to OC, no problem, also the ram seems to be a problem, please take this into account when ordering ram.

Personally I prefer Asus, a little more expensive but well worth it imo.

Well just because one person had a bad experience doesn't mean it's a crap motherboard. Manfacturing defects happen and that's why companies offer RMA services. Becides, the P965 chipset is pretty good. Of course, if you ask me, I would go with the Intel 975X chipset or wait a while for the ATI RD600 chipset.

Thing is, if you'd bothered to look there is more than one negative feedback

And I agree on the 975X chipset too btw

True. I guess the motherboard itself isn't that great...but I still think the Intel P965 Chipset is good.
