I know from my other thread some users posted some flaws with the iPhone. Also I noticed there has been talk about unlocking phones. So I figured I'd post some recent news.
With the start of the New Year the iPhone 3G will finally be getting a software unlock. Here is a quick preview released. The software won't be available for download until January 1st, 09 though.

Now for the big copy/paste issue. This application only applies the copy/paste function for Mail and Safari but at least its a start. That's the 2 big ones though. Anyone can just forward a text message IMO.
Also a side note. You don't need a Jailbroken iPhone for this app.

And finally the one I'm happy about. Flash video integrated right into safari. This looks so much better than the integrated flash browser I have for my WM phone. Only downside is it doesn't work on every flash site yet. Its still in beta form but its a start. *You must have a Jailbroken version for this application*

FYI if your looking for the plugin you need to add a source in cydia and then search for imobilecinema.
