this once happend o me my internet was down for abit, biut it was because our lan lord is especially special and dug a driveway for his 350thousand dollar rv she never uses, thru our internet lines. then my isp came over they hooked us up thru they neighbours line until the could get an excavation team to come re instal the lines, it cost rogers 25k to do so, for one home, not a cent was charged to us or the lanlord, now icall that service.
