Internet Connection Problem!!!!

Out of nowhere my internet just stopped...now it says acquiring network address and wont find any..my internet works on my parents computers so i dont know what to do..i restarted unplugged modem all the shabang...if ne one has an idea plz help me

Ok, do you have Service Pack 2 ? Does it give you an error messege saying 'Limited or No Connectivity' ? What you should try is goto Microsofts website and find the SP2 Connectivity Patch, see if that works then post back.

I have seen individual ports on the back of routers go out before. See if you can plug into a different port. Seems crazy, but i have seen it happen.
