I assembled a system yesterday and having a problem, in that the display blanks out intermittently; it goes blank and comes up on its own as if i were swaping analog and digital link. The LCD monitor LED turns off as if i had cut off the power to monitor. I strongly doubt that my LCD monitor is at fault, but before i change it I would like to get some advice on the system parameters (FSB and voltage) from u folks.
The specs are
----
Athlon 64 3000 Venice core
MSI Neo4-F mobo
420W PSU (20 pin main header connector)
1x512MB PC3200 Geil Golden Dragon RAM
Asus EAX600XT 128MB PCI-E card
120GB WD SATA
Pioneer DVR-109 Burner
Princeton VL1917 (using DVI only, D-sub is not connected)
----
Monitoring tools ( idle state)
----
Asus SmartDoctor
Vcc = 3.29V
Vcore = 1.32V
PCIE = 12.8V
FB Vddq = 2.99V
GPU = 40C
RAM = 40C
-----
CPU Temp = 35C
Sys Temp = 32C
Vcore = 1.38V
3.3v = 3.30V
+5v = 4.84V
+12v = 11.72V
FSB 200MHz
PCI-E 100MHz
CPU Voltage = by_VID
Mem voltage = 2.65V
----
Do the ~0.3v reduction as shown by the "MSI Core Center" utility on +5 and +12 make any difference?
Thanks in advance
