It's definitely going in my next build next Christmas along with Windows 7 (if it's out).
I doubt the Core2Quad will go down more. Most of them are already 5-20 dollars cheaper than a few months ago. The i7 looks great. But, I'm more than content with my Q6600. I might upgrade in a year or so. I'm mostly only using this computer for games, high defintion movies and video editing. I don't feel like it's worth it to spend about $350.00 on a processor for a few FPS. I can wait 20 more seconds on loading a video, haha.
