Intel and AMD Update Desktop CPU Lineups

DigiTimes, citing anonymous sources in the motherboard industry, has a list of upcoming processors from both AMD and Intel showing clock speeds and prices. The list currently shows four Phenom II X6 processors ranging from 2.6GHz to 3GHz, three of which are scheduled for 2Q10.

AMD will launch several six-core Phenom II processors in the second quarter including X6 1035T (2.6GHz/95W), X6 1055T (2.8GHz/95W) and X6 1075T (3.0GHz/125W), according to the sources. In the third quarter, AMD will add a few more six-core processors including X6 1095T. For the quad-core X4 900 series, AMD will launch X4 940T and the 95W version of X4 955 processors in the second quarter, the sources added.

I wait to see how well Crossfire does with a Thuban versus a 920/930 anyone have thoughts on that? I know it's a bit early..

It'll be interesting. Though I'm kinda doubting the x6's will beat the 920/930, but if they're pretty much on par with them for slightly less, AMD is in a sweet spot.
