Instead of deleting recent docs I lost other files in a folder
In an effort to clear my recent docs, I placed the file as described below and clicked it, which cleared all my documents/files in the main folder except sub-folders which are luckily saved. Is there a way to
restore all of those cleared /deleted files. They are not showing in the recycle bin.
I saved it one one of folders of Slave Drive. Folder and its sub-directories are still intact, present but Individual files are lost in this folder.
My recent docs are still there and I can see/access all of them.

Open Notepad and copy/paste the following
into it:
@ECHO OFF
CD %USERPROFILE%\recent
ECHO y| DEL *.*
CD..
CLS
EXIT
Save the file as cleardocs.bat and place it in a
folder somewhere. Make a shortcut to it, and
in the properties of the shortcut, set to run
minimized -- you can place the shortcut anywhere
you like. Clicking on the shortcut will clear
the list automatically.
