Installation Error

Hello,

I get this error while installing some programs..




"An error occured while try to rename a file in the destination directory.

MoveFile failed code 32.

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"




Any help would be appreciated...

What is it you're trying to install? First off I'd make sure no other programs are running, and that you're only trying to do one install at a time. This may also mean disabling some startup programs that might be interfering with what you're trying to install.

It's also possible you're installing to a directory that's not empty - make sure you're not trying to overwrite something that's already in there. If in doubt try and install to another (new) directory.

I was installing some Reflexive games..


I had to disable my AV, FW and malware scanner to get a clean install.
