I remember seeing this a little while back, the dog has some disease (I can't remember what it is called) where the muscle does not kill itself and continues to grow and grow out of control. Like stated above, it is a hereditary disease.

not sure about that it haas so much muscle it probably isnt using its back muscles to much, so the cirloin in it would be quite tender i say.
