inaccessible_boot_device

Hey guys,
I have a laptop, XP Pro, that has an inaccessible_boot_device BSOD halfway through the XP loading screen.

Looking online, all the solutions pointed to chkdsking and fixbooting. I did that multiple times, but nothing was fixed.

What's my next step? I've ordered a SATA docking station to try and recover w/e data I can from the hard-disk, but if the docking station can't access any data is there any hope?

Did you try to boot via the OS discs and run a Repair/Reinstall of the OS?

you would have to put your HDD in another computer and access them from that, if you cannot load your OS you are going to have to reformat the drive, try recovery console, it is an option when you hit F8.
