Images not appearing

I have created a fairly basic website (ok... VERY) using dreamweaver as part of a school project. Basically none of the images or flash buttons are apppearing

Won't go on the site ATM but...
1) did you remember to upload the images etc as well as the pages. ie. can you access them by typing their URL directly into your browser
2) did you use a relative path? If so try the full path

Yah that's the text I used just so it had some text on there as the sites for my father and he hadn't given me any content...

I managed to get it working as I didn't have the images in the same path

My next aim is to get an email i.e blahbalh@nick.eu

I bought a domain from "name cheap" and am struggling as to how to get an email for this domain?
