Image Slideshow FTP/EMAIL - Technical help wanted

So I got a task that I need help with.

A company got a computer by the reception that shows a Image Slideshow that they want to renew. They want people, with no knowledge, to upload photos to this Slideshow. Is there a good solution to this? Could you maybe upload pictures, that you send to a email address, to a FTP server? Is this even possible?
