I'm thinking about spending $2,500 on a new rig. Plz advise.

Ya u right Rudster, life is a gamble, lol. It's just the wait is driving me NUTS! I want to experience DX10 graphics & to have more then a single core, I mean lol I have ddr. I gat scrued on my last purchase that I made with my current rig, so I don't want to make that mistake again, that's why I will wait.

Your system isn't that bad compared to mine , heh, we're in the same boat lol. But still, yours look better spec wise. If you really want to spend $2500 on a high performance PC, I suggest you wait until the end of the year or early next year (to get your money's worth) when a lot of new stuff are coming out. You have got to try some of those new CPUs Intel/AMD (whichever you are going to use) are getting ready to launch!!!!

New video cards are coming out next year too and we'll be seeing some drop in price on DDR3 RAM and motherboards.

Otherwise, looks like you can still do a lot with what you have now.
