Im having probs installing new hadware

it was the card. I think.
i was under the impression windows would reconize or at least say something about any new hadware conected to the Mb???

anyhow I think the cards either bad or I have no idea how to install a card thats not plug and play.

it would not work in the other slots either.


i got a new one tho for 20bucks an it installed fine.

this is what hp told me

No, that is the technical definition. However, we use that term for cards that will be at least detected by the OS when plugged in.
