If I'm not gonna overclock, which RAM should i get

well overclocking a processor (id try to do the same) just allows you to multitask more. Right their is 2 gigbytes of RAM in 4 chips. So if you have 4 more memory slots on your mobo then you will notice a signifigant increase in speed in your computer with an additional 2 gigabytes of RAM. Compared to the 512 you have right now, that 2.5 gigs of ram youll have (assunming you keep the 512 thats currently in it also) then their will be a huge increase in speed with that mcuh RAM.

Plus a 3.2 ghz processor is very good.

The XMS is faster, but both are crap in my OPINION. Here, this is much better (and faster RAM)

Now, if you really want to go all out, go with this RAM. IT IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD, HANDS DOWN!

NOTHING TOPS BALLISTIX. READ THE REVIEW, THE GUY GOT IT UP TO 250Mhz with timings still at 2.5-2-2-5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!

i have the hand it to that guy (and AMD ZEN for pointing out that RAM) but 250Mhz @2.5-2-2-5....THAT IS INSANE (the RAM not the guy)

AMD ZEN, i see you have 2 6600gt's in SLI, what mobo are u using? I have a feeling its this one: ASUS "A8N-SLI Deluxe" nForce4 SLI Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket 939 CPU -RETAIL

If so, is it any good? The system i am looking at will mirror urs pretty much. You had it a long time or is it new?
