ok...i want to start over.


i wanna delter any trace of windows from ym lappy, and do a fresh intall.

if i do that (windows is my C:/) will that delete everything in my F:/ drive?

its not 2 drives, but a partion, made by the manufactoer


and i only have the recovery DVD, not an actual vista disk


basicly what i want to do it to make my C:/ nothing but what need to be there, stock windows....thats all

you'll be fine as long as you don't delete the wrong partition.

After rereading I have to say I'm not 100% sure about the recovery disk. If I was you I would download a copy of a regular vista install disk or go to a local computer shop and see if they would be kind enough to burn you one. I know we used to do it for people once and a while and as long as you have a legal COA it's not illegal to do so. I can't guarantee it with the recovery disk without seeing what it's options are first.
