Ever since I visited some site, whenever I go somewhere and it says cannot disply/find page, it changes to lop.com (soemsearch engine). How can I get rid of this so it will stay as cannot display/find page instead of changing?
A few months ago that was a pretty big issue on several portal sites, and they linked to a fix for it. I never had to use it so never took notice of where it was and/or if it worked. I would check download.com or something similar for a fix.
Ad-aware started targeting lop.com along with a number of browser hijackers. Spybot S&D and Pest Patrol also target and remove lop.com software. Ad-aware and Spybot both updated recently to target xupiter.com's software as well
