I want to build a $800 - $900 computer using this case, the eMachines T2824 starting from scratch. The Link is the picture of the cases in different pics if you click photo gallery.

The computer will be used for college pruposes. I would like it ready for windows vista. I will not be using it for gaming, that is what the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 are made for. Just the regluar Microsft word programs and internet and storing muisc. Also will be using it for my computer science major. Something with good memory and a harddrive.

P.S. is it wise to go to a computer place to have them build my computer. The guy I talked to said it would cost starting at $650. Are they going to rip me off?

Yea There is always overhead when a store builds you a PC. thats how they stay in business.

I would Look into a Core2Duo Processor
2 Gigs Of DDR2 800
and a say a 320 Gig Seagate 7200.10 perpendicular recording drive
Also get a High Quality PSU say Enermax, or Thermaltake

If you have a shop build you a pc you can specify these components.

Or buy them if you do it yourself.
