I/O card ?

I know im thick but what does I/O stand for, what does it do are the cards interchangable? sorry but im new. many thanks
 
I/o isnt that the little plate that goes over the bits at the back of the case for the motherboard, mouse and keyboard etc.

THe big ? is why did yiu ask as it's just part of how your Motherboard works.A very big card.
Kinda like getting IN and Out of your car(devices).Then the "drivers" take over.

ntsc is like a type of format. Say americans have ntsc videos but we use pal. You have ntsc xbox games but we have pal.

While My son uses his audio tape recorder to record his engine sounds.
Also works with electric can openers,blenders,shavers,hair dryers and my favorite is Flushing the toilet.Makes me happy as a pig in ****.
Great in Dolby surround on a 500 watt amp.
Almost forgot,my wifes farts.Ripping good audio.
What a great hobby eh guys ?
