I am going to buy a laptop from ibuypower.com and I need to know which processor I need to get. I have the choice of:

*Intel® Pentium-4 Processor 650 [3.4GHz, 2MB Cache, 800MHz FSB, 64-Bit + HT Ready]

*Intel® Pentium® M Processor 760 [2.0Ghz, 533MhzFSB, 2MB Cache]

*Intel® Core Duo Processor T2600 (2.16GHz/2M Cache/677FSB)

*Mobile AMD® Turion™64 MT-40 CPU [2.2GHz, 1MB Cache] w/Hyper Transport Technology

*Mobile AMD® Athlon-64 4000+ CPU

I am going to game, video edit, homework, etc. on this laptop. I am looking into speed and dependablility. Just state your opinion and why.
Thanks a lot and your help is greatly appreciated!

I hate to say it, but if you can afford it go with the Core Duo. The Turion is a close second, though. The 2MB cache is what makes the difference.

If you plan on gaming on it, make sure that you get a decent graphics card built in. You can't upgrade a lappy's graphics like you can a desktop.

because its the best one

Core Duo, avoid pentium 4's in laptops like the PLAGUE! Pentium 4 + laptop = 30 min battery life :D
