I made the switch

It still doesn't like my printer. Apparently it works fine connected via USB, but networked is too much to ask, I guess. In 9.04 it tried to reprogram it, and now it just doesn't work. Any ideas? I had SAMBA installed, and the printer is an HP officejet 4215. I used the suggested drivers.

I switched back to vista for the time being, Ubuntu didn't like my cd drive.... so i am going to go more into later this this week

I just installed Ubuntu 9.10 32-bit and I'm pleased with how well it worked out of the box. The big thing that kept me from using it was that I couldn't get it to work with SPDIF audio output, but it seems like that issue's been addressed. Now the only three things keeping me from running it 24/7 is iTunes, Zoombrowser EX (Canon utility that makes things easy), and gaming.
