HTML problem please help!

Wondering if any of you possibly can help me.

i need to make my life easier.

I had a friend a long time ago help me design this website, and it is completely outdated. Alot of the components work. All the links, the pictures etc. The problem is it is all wrote in HTML, and a TON of tables are used. I dont really know much about tables and html as i program in c++ and went to school for video game programming. I cannot for the life of me figure out certain things or know how to fix them.

Is it possible to get rid of all the tables? I will greatly appreciate it, if any of you could re do the HTML without tables and make it display the same in a easier format.

The top of the website is mis aligned, and the advertisement.jpg element wont load underneath the infestation banner.

Well it looks like that website isn't done in HTML coding format whatsoever. I wouldn't try and fix it and publish it without knowing how it works. You can't have a <html><html> its <HTML></html>. It's always smaller to greater to smaller to greater, then goes the heading, body, <p></p> or paragraphs. The design of the site, the content is just horrible, no offense. Who wants to know the hair color of you? Who wants to read that stuff in an (about me) section.

I would of suggested like all professional developers, programmers, is that you learn html before you learn any other programming language. Every single language including c++ originates from the basics(html). If I were you, if start all over again and learn html, then CSS, then JavaScript, then, PHP, Phythn. If learn all the programming languages there are on earth so you can integrate characters of all to create one beauty.

Not sure what your'e on about... the site is done in HTML, and it has beginning / ending enclosed HTML tags.

They originate from Fortran, Ada, Cobol, etc. Not HTML. HTML was developed in the early to late 80's. Ada was done in the 70's.

The point is that your HTML/CSS was done incorrect because it shows the HTML/CSS coding on the website. So the HTML was incorrect on the site. Just you to the site and you'll see the coding shown to public visitors. Unless you did that on purpose, I don't know what to tell you other than to learn more about HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Just a suggestion.

the issue is that he has a <center> tag on the Doc type. if you remove the center tag it works fine. While you're right, from a standardization / ocd / organizational stand point it's frustrating to not have conformity between tags, but it's not necessary.

Also on the site, since the OP hasn't posted back I'd say this is kind of a wash and my words are falling on blind eyes, but I would just start over as it'd be more work to clean up than redo from scratch. Also you have some odd content on there... link for porn on a personal site? Sure you want that there?

Not my site. Mine is www.mitchellkraus.com. I create simplicity in all aspects on my site and put a poll for each page asking, "was this page helpful?" 1)not helpful at all 2)somewhat helpful 3)helpful 4)very helpful.

I don't get that many visitors, that I know of using google analytics, because its not a site I need to do too much to do, that is while my Foundation is is developing what it will become. I made my site and sub-pages as simplistic as possible. I'm having some trouble creating more podcasts, and I have one on the iTunes Store. But for my site specifically, I am just continually growing, and a podcast I may create and upload on my password protected developing podcast sub-domain, then I learn so much more and want to delete it to create a new one. Then its repetitive. I kind of regret my iTunes podcast, because I was like 2 days sleep deprived everyday, to sleep 1 night, and be up for 2 more days. Plus this website, I'm thinking of making it THEE or THE(thee-actual-the-of something) linked to the main site I will create.

The feedback I've gotten after 2 days of posting is VERY HELPFUL from the first one to fill out the poll/survey.
 
Hi. I appreciate your help but it has not fixed the problem i am having. The advertisement image still does not show up under the infestation banner. the link was put in my OP, to explain it further.

I removed the center on the doctype. I have tried a bunch of things i am not sure why it does not work//
 
Thanks for the help, i appreciate it. I have listened an gotten rid of the center on the doctype. And tried a bunch more stuff to get it all to align on the top right, with the platforms they respectively attach to.

also i fixed also the advertisement.jpg it was because of ad block software(noob lesson for a key-word picture name). I would really like to still clean up the code+ get rid of 99% of the table stuff but have no idea how. Please help :)
