I have an HP Pavilion notebook, as the title says. It's got 1GB of Ram and I've been thinking of getting another gig, which is possible, but I'm not sure if both of my ports(?) for ram are taken, each having 512MB...or if there's one port taken...Is there any way for me to find out? Google doesn't seem to know either. Also, how hard would it be to install RAM on a notebook/is it worth it?

Thanks in advance for any help :D

If you turn your laptop over, there will be a removable panel with a screw. Just take out the screw and lift off the panel and check to see if you have one memory module or 2.

you can go to crucial.com and they have a system scanner that scans for what type of ram u have. you can see which slots are filled up there.

and just to tell you that laptop has them already filled up with 2 cuz my friend has that one.
