hp pavilion wont boot windows help

Hi on my Hp Pavilion way back on 11-14-05 I wanted to set it back to the factory settings using the 1-3 hp system recovery discs that came with the system now im trying to get it going again when I go to boot up I have the 6 boot up choices with a time remaining limit of 30 seconds to enter a choice
With a warning below that : Windows has detected a registry/configuration error.

Use SCANREG to correct this error.

also when I run 1.Normal
I get

I can hit esc at the pavillion men
u and it takes me to
boot menu there I can go to the phoniexBIOS setup utility just cant get it to boot any of my cds
