Hp dv2500 motherboard

I was wondering if anyone else has been having trouble with their Hp dv2500 motherboard burning out I was told that their were problems with the 2400 series and was just wondering if I was the only one with a dead laptop

did a google search - that model seems to have tons of issues and HP so far isn't doing anything about it, mostly overheating and graphics problems
