How to resubmit site to search engine

Hi,
Ive got a real problem.
I put my site on sedo.com and parked it their to earn some revenue, whist nothing is happening with it.
but now a few weeks later, I cant find my site on the search engine.
I contacted my host, but the host says, not thier problem, the nameserver is with godaddy, contact them.
I contact them, then they say, not thier problem, because they have nothing to do with the search engine, and I must resubmit to the search engine.
has anybody had this problem before.
did I make a mistake, and should just leave kiss the site goodbye, and start a new one with a new domain,
or is their another solution.

go to Network Tools put in your domain name and do a DNS lookup.
Check the name servers to see where they are pointing to.
If not on sedo then go to your domain controller panel and update accordingly.
