How to Read a SIM Card

I need to read a SIM card on an LG model lm-x220mb, which is microsdhc. I know that SIM cards do not typically hold information; however, I do need to see if this one has been backed up with contacts. I tried inserting it into my iPhone, but it did not work (said it was not the same carrier, or something like that). How can I see what is on this SIM card? I called around to a couple local repair shops - none could help me. Any suggestions?​

Just pick up an adapter and plug it into your pc through the USB port

Thank you, Joe. But I did that, and it would not read. I plugged it in to my computer, and it said e or f drive, I neither drive shows up on my laptop.

First off SIM and MicroSD are diffrent they require diffrent readers You need a sim card reader and then you have to mount the media and that depends on os version but if you ran vmware with Ubuntu it might recognize it if Apple run a containor with Ubuntu.
