how to play .cda extension video file in pc

i have a movie cd that shows me .cda extension in computer.. i am able to play the movie properly in my vcd player but when i am trying to play it on my pc i can't play because i get the error the format is not supported becuase the file is with .cda extension

tried WMP 9 , Media player Classic.. I REALLY NEED TO PLAY THIS I KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE ANYONE?????????

.CDA files are not, strictly speaking, a file at all. Taken more accurately they resemble Microsoft's shortcut files in that they point to information rather than containing it themselves. In the case of a shortcut, this means a pointer to a file somewhere on your computer, a .CDA file serves the same purpose for an audio CD and simply points to the track and sector on a disc where a song begins.

Well you can be more polite to the people who try to help you for starters. Now he is right try Power DVD or DivX.

you head to the mpegav or the .dat file in your vcd. that's is the movie
nero showtime or roxio vcd players (of roxio video pack) will recognized the vcd disc
