How to get more visitors?

Hi everyone!

I am looking for some tips on how to promote a website. Recently I made this website: www.racing-forum.net And I find it hard to get new active members. Have you guys/girls got any idea on how I can get more visitors to my site?

I already submitted to a few search engines, but that didn't really help (yet).

First i am by no means an expert....but

Google and other search engines have not indexed many of your pages and those that have do not have very strong keywords, you need to think about what users will search for when looking for a site like yours.

Trying to compete for "F1" is pointless but perhaps "F1 forum UK" might work, there is a good tool from overture that lets you see how many people serached for a key phrase last month. http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

You really have to spend time thinking what would users type in to find me and then work on creating pages with that phrase as a title and containing the term. It takes time but does work.

getting traffic on a website is a VERY complicated task. It takes know how and LOTS of time....

unless you want to pay someone else to do it.. then it just takes MONEY
