How to extend GPT partition

Greetings one and all!!
Firstly, let me say, I'm not sure if this post is relevant in this area or not. I'm in the process of upgrading the 2.5” SATA HDD in a recorder from a 320Gb to 500Gb drive. I've managed to clone the drive however the final partition which is also the largest is not utilising the full disk capacity. Could someone please point me in the right direction on how I go about extending a GPT partition on this HDD?
