how to disable headphones

i have an asus s96j and the headphone jack is completely ripped out. i want to know how to make the computer disable the headphone idea as if it doesn't have a headphone jack at all. there has to be a way.

or if i get one of those pcmcia sound cards, will it use the speakers on my laptop? the point i want to get to is to use the laptop speakers and they are working now because they think there is a headphone jack and there is something in it

the jack didn't work so i tried to fix it and i broke it. anyways is there a way to make the computer think there is no headphone jack

go to sounds properties and uninstall it

what do you mean in the sounds properties, i go to start and control panel and click on hardware and sound, then i click sound. then what. i see abslutely nothing about a headphoen jack
