Hey all a friend of mine has a shipping company and asked me to look into creating a tracking system for his shipments. Some of them are local, some of them international I tried to look at a few different links and came across this Open sourced project

It's a little scarce on details but it seems incredibly interesting and I have always wanted to experiment with location tracking devices.
