how to cool the north bridge chip

Hi:
my motherboad is INTEL i945, but recently, i have noticed that the temperature of the north bridge chip fin is very high, so i am very worried about it!
so how to cool it further!

get a northbridge cooler with a fan on it. (not just a heatsink)
the Swiftech MCX159 is a descent one

on all systems except AMD K8, the northbridge houses the memory controller, which is what the CPU talks to if it wants to access RAM.
on non-K8 systems, because of the memory controller, the northbridge can get pretty hot when the CPU needs to access RAM a lot
