Beginnning of this year, I started my new job. I have been outsourced my a contracting company (Company A) to work for another company (Company B) that dictates what my pay and working conditions.

Orginally when i joined, I was told 3 month contract for probation period which will be renewed to 6 month contract. My contract did get renewed, but it was only for another 3 months. Currently I am mid contract.

Although I enjoy the work, I am not happy with the conditions that Company B making me work for. Especialy now that they have moved from Pay Per Hour to Pay Per Event. And there is a lot of other issues that I am facing on a day by day basis because of this new payment method.
Currently i am looking for a job elsewhere and I have been finding that I can get better working conditions elsewhere doing the same thing.

In the mean time, this morning, I got a email from Company A about my safication with Company B. The results will be shared with both companies. With the fact that my contract is up in July, I am currently questioning how I should answer this.

1. Be honest and let them know that I am not happy with the working conditions.

I put to be honest - but if these results are shared with company B and they know you said you were disatistifed i would avoid the question all together. I would hope they would reveal the results without showing which employee said what - but companies have done much more stupid things in the past... so i wouldn't put it past them.

The little problem I do have is that my contract re-news in July. Last thing I want them doing to me is not re-newing my contract just because I am not happy about it.

One of the new guys, only been there for about a month now, is currently dissatisified with the working conditions of Company B, but putting the blame on Company A. Problem is that he has a bad habbit of opening his mouth around in the presence of the client about how he's not happy. I know that he's done that with every one else in my team. He tried that with me 2 days ago where I took him out to the parking lot, well away from any one else and explained to him that what he was doing is extremely stupid by opening his mouth like that in front of the customer.

Well, the guy that says stuff in front of customers wont last long. and you should be honest about how you feel, thats the point of them offering the questionier, if the conditions are not acceptable then by all means let them know otherwise Company A wont get that what Company B is doing is not good for employee's, they can not get rid of you for honesty to a question that they ask. just be tactful about how its worded.

Currently every day I see the new call sheets, my thoughts are "Oh, he's not fired yet". In all honesty, he currently working on borrowed time with the team.

I will look at this survey over the week end when am I in the right frame of mind. It's been one of those weeks for me.

We get these 'surveys' at work on a regular basis too. They want to know what you like and what you don;t like about where you work and about your job etc.

They're always said to be anonymous but i'm always a bit skeptical of 'anonymous' surveys...or is that just me...?

I am too - but i'm willing to be honest as long and i don't have to put anyting personal on the survey like name, employee ID, etc.

The only way for an anonymous survey to be anonymous, is to have a drop box, with surveys beside it so they may be dropped off, no cameras with a view of that box, nor any employee should be stationed near the box.
