If you ask me, maurice is over in that other reputation thread saying something and I'm just over here commenting on my rep's and how it happened... you don't have to use a logical fallacy, sweeping generilzation, and say calm down.. and if you say calm down for this, trust me, I'm plenty calm...

Since most people don't use them, or they don't know about it..they never seemed to be all that inportant to people.

This is just an option that i shure hope does not get abused, but we'll just have to see how it goes. It is very useful when someone has helped you with a problem you've had resolved by a member, and you thanked them by giving them a rep point.
