How do I transfer BIG files from PC to Laptop wirelessly?

I want to transfer my MP3 folder to my laptop. It's about 10 gigs and I setup a small network in my house. When I try to drag and drop the folder using the wireless network, it takes about 2 or 3 hours to do so. I also tried using a USB stick but it's only 1 gig and it would take forever.

What else should I try?

Try using Wired or if you have an ipod enable disk use and transfer them that way.

if you have an ipod, sync all your songs with the ipod, then plug it into the laptop and use Sharepod (freeware, google it) to pull the songs back off the iPod, take alot less time to sync, and rip; in my experience.
