Long story short...... for those people that don't know, I have dual US and AU citizenship. I was living in America, and my grandmother (who passed way last year) as left a nest egg account for me to access.
With the current economic rates being the way they are, I can earn MUCH more interest down in Australia and what I can in the USA. So I would like to move this money cross.
The problem is in order to do so, I need my US social security number. My parents have this written down on a piece of paper some where at their house. God only knows where this piece of paper really is in that house.
What other ways (which do not involve me getting on an airplane to get over there) can I find out what my social security number is?
