Hi guys... My computers motherboard is crashed and I can't turn on the PC at all :(
I have got some very important data in my hard disk. Now, I have no idea how I can really back it up?

Is there anyway I can retrieve all the data?

Please don't tell me to go to a tech because I don't want to spend any money hehe.. unless I really have to..

Please let me know asap..Thanks!

Once you'd got the relevant enclosure, it's a pretty simple process to take your hard drive out of the PC, plug it into the enclosure and then plug the enclosure (via USB or firewire) into another PC. This will then show up as a normal external hard drive and (assuming the hard drive isn't corrupted or damaged) you should just be able to copy all your documents across to the other computer.

hmm I think I get the idea.. Sorry.. I have never really heard the term "enclosure" but now it seems ok .. I will buy the enclosure tomorrow and then plug it in a different CPU tomorrow :D and take all the data out ..

I will reply back tomorrow once its all done.. :D
