How can I network this??

OK, I want to have my main computer WIRED. I want to share the internet wirelessly with two other computers. I have a cable modem. Is this possible? How do I set it up?

The best way for you to set this up would be to use a wireless router, and have the main computer wired to the router.

like dragon said a wireless router, but dont forget to pick up 2 wireless NIC's(network interface cards) for the 2 machines you want wireless.

Thanks for the help guys, sorry for the stupid question. I didn't know that wireless routers actually had more than 1 wired port.

I just find networks so frustrating, especially when I can't get an ad-hoc wireless network to work (files can be shared, internet won't. or if it does share every now and then, it's extremely slow. it's not the internet connection that's slow)
