"No" would have sufficed.Regardless of their legal status they can get a good connection from literally any public spot anyways. Withholding any info is a 10 second deter to go find another spot to ask like Reddit, Facebook, whatever. Like I said to the other poster (I'm thinking you're probably the same person), reading comprehension goes a long way. The OP stated going to court because of ex support workers. Support tells me some form of health or therapy worker. Knowing legal systems being shit, mandating no internet access as a punishment could have been a form of collateral damage and completely unrelated. Nothing insinuates so far besides a person wanting to look at porn. Now we have info to go off of from the OPs reply. An Autistic guy in a facility with women support workers, he liked one, shit hit the fan with allegations and bullying. His prison and internet restriction is clearly from disobeying a restraining order or whatever they call it over across the pond by trying to apologize. Nothing seriously reprimanding here for me to withhold simple advice that can be found anywhere online, considering all I did was say talk to the ISP.
Easy and done.
I've been arrested once, was held at gunpoint on concrete in the middle of a street by 3 officers, went to jail, was granted personal bond but spent 12 hours in county because our judicial and policing system is horse shit. The resulting consequence was no alcohol, no weapons in my posession, wasting GPU money I had saved for months on a lawyer only for the 3000 series to be heavily scalped and out of stock for 2 years, CPS using my arrest as an allegation to try and take my children, my wife's family and surrounding people using it as an excuse to get her to leave me, and about 2 years of trauma I had to work through because of what happened. All because my wife wanted to fight and argue due to her insecurities in a public place that was going on for 2 weeks. I raised my voice, somebody else in the building intervened not knowing what was happening, I turned and said mind your own business, and the bartender (at Main Event) got jumpy calling the police. They told me several times to leave, I was walking out the door and got assaulted, I got in my vehicle and got to a stop sign when the cops showed up. The charge on me was disrupting the peace and discharging a weapon. My intake papers and surveillance prove I had no gun on me but they still pushed it through resulting in all of that. The case was easily dismissed and expunged but the damage still done. This was 3 years ago and still being used against me in certain situations despite those same people being there knowing exactly what happened. The CPS case was because my step daughter is a deeply troubled girl getting into trouble constantly and eventually being sent to a mental institute that called CPS to perform a follow up. They ran the information and decided to try and use that against us resulting in a battle that was turned to FDFS and also dismissed. I'll add we had a newborn at the time and she was jealous.
See how just a small smidget of that story turned into a large growing snowball because of one event? At face value one could assume a lot of things from just the arrest story. One cop writing discharging a weapon turned a class C into a class B misdemeanor making things a lot worse for me and my family down the road. My wife was just denied an in home daycare state certification and license because of the arrest that was expunged but still clearly showing because I live and work here. Simply due to the inaccuracies of an asshole. Point is, don't judge a book by its cover and there's always two sides to the story. What ever this guy did 10 years ago has no bearing on weather I'll give any info on an ISP. I don't know him, you, or anybody else here besides the admin in person. I can't judge with that of which I do not know.
Not the previous poster - just trying to be helpful in case you hadn't noticed the red flags due to a momentary lapse of judgement.
Clearly not the case.
Sorry if I've hit a raw nerve.
