Hosting a CS:S game?

How do you make it so people can join it? I have put sv_lan 0 in console. They can't join. Opened up ports but yet other people can't join it. Is there a decent guide on how to host a CS:S game?

(I am using a router. No software firewalls.)

I opened up the ports 27015, 27014, and 27010 on both udp and tcp and also tiggered them just incase. But yeah go to that site because that is the proper ip.

I only opened up port 27015 on TCP.

What do I put after my IP though. As CS has IP's like this: 82.26.252.175:*****

i had this problem.

I gave up and started making 20 accounts on one of those free server hosting places and just booked. (first come first served basis)

Just set port to both and try running a dedicated server. Just go to www.whatismyip.com and just give them that!

Also if you dont have a decent computer and a isp with a 5mb dl/1md ul dont do it at all. I have a p4 3.06 ghz ht 1gb ram dc with a 15mb dl/2mb ul and i get pings ranging from 20-90.
