Hooking computer up to Plasma Television

Hi,

Me and my mates like to watch Starcraft 2 tournaments together (pretty nerdy but meh) and we were thinking of watching them at my house next.

Anyways, my graphics card has a DVI slot, however my plasma TV does not, however, my TV does have a HDMI port and a VGA port as well.

Is it possible for me to get a HDMI or VGA converter in which I could plug my DVI cable into, and simply plug that into my TV? Would I need to actually get a graphics card which supports it? If I were to get a converter what would you recommend? Would it make much difference?

I've actually never done it before... I'm aware it's probably gonna be a bit pixelated, perhaps I will buy a graphics card which is better suited...

Meh, thanks anyways guys!!

Jayson: Just do a search for "DVI to HDMI adapter" and you should come up with plenty of results. Keep in mind that if the video card doesn't do audio over DVI/HDMI, you'll need to get a separate audio cable to run from the PC to your TV.
