I know my way around a computer pretty well, I also thought i knew a little about home networking but I am stumped I have a Belkin Play N600 wireless duel band router. We are trying to play Age of Empires over the local lan between several computer and I can see each computer on every computer and i can ping each computer but when we go into the game to play a multiplayer game we can see the game. but if I turn the router in to just a access point by changing the setting with in router it works but then the rest of the house does not have internet. what other steps can I try I have all ready tried several things I have found on the internet also others that i knew to try. I cant really explain them so if you give me the same steps i will let you know but any help would be greatly appreciated. I am completely stumped.
