Hi, first day here!

I don't have anything impressive, though I plan to build my own PC within the next year or so. I have a 17" Dell Inspirion 9300 with an Intel Pentium M 2.0 ghz processor, GeForce Go 6800, 1 gb ram, 70 gig hd. It's almost 2 years old and this is what I use to do homework, watch movies, store all my music, and play various games. I know I'll be using this forum a lot when I plan to build my pc. I am pretty confident that I can build my own, but there are still a few technicalities that I may need help on.
