Help!

my mouse keeps freezing and i have to keep changing USB sockets for it to come back to life

90% of the time the LED on the mouse is on, 10% of the time the LED is gone

this is most noticeable in CS where i can't move my mouse and like 10 seconds later there's a lag and then i can move again, but only for like 5 seconds until it dies again

Reformat!

Try a new usb mouse. If that solves your problems your old mouse is bad. If it still persists then you know it's something deeper.

my mouse works fine if i don't play CS though :\

i WOULD reformat if i had a legal copy of windows =(
