Help with new build.

Ok guys, I just finished assembling the computer in my sign. I booted it up, only to find out it wont detect my HD. This is my first time playing with SATA, so I popped in my OS cd, and it loaded everything, and then it gave me a blue screen, saying hard drive failure. Sorry if this answer might seem obvious to you guys, I'm still a noob. . Anyways, I know the HD is getting power, because its a bit on the warm side. Either way, im out of ideas.

Did you load your SATA drivers (press F5) during boot?

Just tried it, no-go. Heres the error.

The way ive got round this in the past is to, run ya xp cd, and install ya drivers then, i think its F6, not 100% sure coz its that long since i done it

Try a different SATA cable.
